Principal applicant

• Original passport with a valid, convertible tourist visa (valid at least 30 days; extend as needed) + photocopies
• PRA application form (typed, signed)
• PRA medical certificate with results (issued within 6 months; apostilled if done abroad)
• Police clearance from country of origin or last residence (within 6 months; apostilled; English)
• Bureau of Immigration Clearance Certificate (BICC)
• NBI clearance (only if you have stayed in the Philippines 90+ days before filing)
• Certificate of visa deposit from a PRA-accredited bank (inward remittance from abroad)
• 8 pcs 2×2 photos, white background, taken within 3 months
• Proof of lifetime pension (Classic pensioner: min. USD 800/month single, USD 1,000/month with dependents), apostilled
• Courtesy only: proof of eligibility (former Filipino: old PH passport, PSA birth certificate, or naturalisation certificate; foreign nationals: proof of diplomatic, international organisation, military, or high-achiever status)
• Supplementary documents, if from a PRA-identified country (birth certificate, national ID, social insurance/retirement record)
• PRA processing fee and annual fee (set by the agency; current amounts confirmed in your quotation)

Visa deposit (as published by the PRA; confirm before remitting)

• Proof of financial capacity or investment, any of:
  • Certification of inward remittance of at least USD 100,000 (or equivalent), or
  • Documents showing ownership/purchase of a condominium unit, or
  • Documents showing ownership of or investment in an existing business of at least USD 100,000
• Bureau of Quarantine stamp/clearance, or government health institution certificate of physical and mental fitness
• Valid NBI clearance

• Publication of the vacancy and the foreign national’s name in a newspaper of general circulation (PhilJobNet/PESO posting encouraged)
• File no earlier than 15 calendar days after publication, and within 15 calendar days of signing the contract
• Notarised AEP application form
• Passport with valid visa/authorised stay
• Proof of TIN (BIR-received Form 1904/1902 or equivalent)
• Notarised/authenticated employment contract or appointment (position, duties, salary, benefits)
• Employer registration: SEC Certificate, Articles, By-Laws, current GIS; or business/mayor’s permit; or ecozone registration
• Proof of publication (or affidavit, if exempt)
• Sector-specific licences, if applicable (e.g., PCAB, PAGCOR)
• UTP/SDP plan (covered establishments)

Part 2: BI 9(g) visa

• Joint letter request (employer and applicant)
• CGAF (non-immigrant), 2 copies
• Passport bio-page and latest admission (photocopy)
• Employment contract/appointment (duration, exact compensation, scope)
• AEP (or DOLE Certificate of Exemption/Exclusion) + proof of publication of approved AEP
• Employer’s latest ITR with proof of payment
• Employer’s SEC Certificate, Articles, current GIS (or DTI + mayor’s permit)
• Notarised certification of the number of foreign and Filipino employees
• PRC Special Temporary Permit (regulated professions)

• Police clearance from abroad (English; apostilled/authenticated) or NBI clearance issued in the Philippines, valid 6 months (principal and dependents aged 14+)
• Medical certificate authenticated by the Bureau of Quarantine, valid 6 months
• Birth certificate or family/household registry (apostilled/authenticated)
• Marriage certificate, if applicable (apostilled/authenticated)
• Proof of inward remittance of at least USD 75,000 from a BOI-accredited bank (DBP, Landbank, Security Bank, EastWest Bank, per the BOI)
• Passport with updated stay
• BOI filing fee and BI fees (set by the agency; current amounts confirmed in your quotation)

Reminder: The funds must be placed in a qualifying investment and maintained.

• Sworn certification: initial or final SWP; documents genuine; applicant will work only in the stated position
• Sworn undertaking to withhold/remit taxes; statement if paid by the home office abroad

• Annual Report for ACR I-Card holders: January 1 to March 1 each year
• Exit clearance (ECC) generally required if you have stayed 6 months or more
