    How to Apply: Step by Step

    We first confirm your eligibility and a qualifying investment route. Your funds are then inwardly remitted to a BOI-accredited bank, your documents are prepared, and the application is filed with the BOI for endorsement to the Bureau of Immigration. After the visa is issued, the funds are placed in the qualifying investment, and the visa may be converted to indefinite status once the investment is verified, as provided in BOI and BI rules.     • Can I qualify by buying property?

      Passive real estate purchases are generally not a qualifying SIRV investment. The Quota Visa, by contrast, accepts condominium ownership as proof of investment.

    • Do I have to live in the Philippines full-time?

      BOI guidance indicates there is no minimum physical presence requirement, as long as the qualifying investment is maintained.

    • What happens if I withdraw my investment?

      Withdrawing or reducing the investment below the required level can lead to cancellation of the visa.
