PEZA Export Enterprise Registration: Prepare the Project File First
A company may be interested in PEZA registration because of an export project or a proposed location in an economic zone. Incorporation and a lease, however, do not by themselves confer PEZA status or incentives. The applicant must define the registrable project and submit the required evidence.
Use PEZA’s current application kit
PEZA publishes an Export Enterprise Application Checklist and Form through its enterprise-registration downloads. Applicants should obtain the current version and confirm the activity classification, zone or facility, ownership, projected exports, investment and employment information requested for their project.
The application narrative should be consistent with SEC records, business plan, lease or site documents, financial projections and proposed operating timetable. If another regulator must license the product or activity, build that dependency into the plan. Do not present a facility as operational or an incentive as approved before the relevant agency has acted.
Think beyond initial approval
PEZA registration can carry conditions on the approved activity, location, reports and incentive use. Those obligations should be understood when budgets and customer contracts are being prepared. A project amendment or additional activity may require separate approval.
Our company formation and investment services can help map the structure and documentary sequence. Contact BizzureVisa with a short project description for an initial review.
General information only. PEZA determines eligibility and the terms of any registration or incentive.
