The Philippine Bureau of Immigration (BI) has granted a limited extension to foreign nationals covered by specified Orders of the Board of Commissioners dated 1 September 2026. The advisory covers Visa Cancellation Order Nos. BOC-2026-282 to BOC-2026-295, OTL BOC-2026-65 to OTL BOC-2026-78, and BLO BOC-2026-1389 to BLO BOC-2026-1402. Individuals who had been directed to leave the country by 30 September 2026 may now comply on or before 30 November 2026.
The extension changes only the compliance deadline. It does not revoke, suspend, or invalidate the underlying visa cancellation, order-to-leave, or blacklist order. Affected foreign nationals should not treat the advisory as a restoration of visa status or permission to continue activities that the operative order no longer allows.
Anyone who received an immigration order should confirm the exact docket number and compare it with the ranges listed by the BI. Travel arrangements, clearances, and any unresolved immigration matters should be reviewed early. Waiting until the final days can create avoidable problems if documents, airline arrangements, or other government requirements take longer than expected.
The BI warns that failure to depart by 30 November 2026 will constitute non-compliance and may result in deportation proceedings. If an affected person believes a legal remedy remains available, advice should be obtained promptly and with the complete order and immigration record available for review.
